(1)8月7日(水)、文化体育センターで「夏巡業大相撲秩父場所が開催されます」、(2)今年も『ちちぶ木の駅プロジェクト』。木材の買い取りは、9月14日に始まり、3月14日までの毎月第2土曜日の全7日行います。⑶「荒川しだれ桜まつり写真コンクール展」が8月6日（火）～8月30日（金）の間、秩父市役所本庁舎１階エントランスで行います。
