西田君、おめでとう！

西田勘汰選手はソフトボールで埼玉県庁クラブに所属され、昨年度は日本代表選手として、インターコンチネンタルカップに出場し、準優勝の成績を残しました。また、茨城県で第74回国民体育大会で埼玉選手団の代表として騎手も務められました。西田選手の活躍に対し、秩父市よりスポーツ振興奨励金を贈呈しました。
